Brow Goddess Atl ("we," "us," "our") operates a private permanent-makeup and brow studio in East Point, GA. This page explains what information we collect through our website and booking system, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways:

Booking information — when you book an appointment on this site, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the service and add-ons you select, and your appointment date and time. This is stored in our own booking database (hosted for us by Supabase); it is not sent to a third-party scheduling service.
Intake and consent form — before a permanent-makeup or brow service, we ask you to complete an intake form. Depending on the service, this can include health-related information you choose to provide — such as allergies, relevant medical history, current medications, and whether you are pregnant or nursing — along with your answers about the look you want, a photo-use choice, your agreement to our policies, and a typed signature. We collect this only to assess whether a service is safe and appropriate for you, and it becomes part of your client record.
Deposit method — during booking you tell us how you plan to send your deposit (for example Zelle, card by phone, or cash). We do not collect or store card numbers, bank details, or other payment credentials on this website.
Chat widget messages — if you use the chat assistant on our site, the messages you send are transmitted to Anthropic to generate a reply. We don't keep a record of casual questions. However, if you give your name, phone number, or email in the chat, or ask us to follow up, we save those details and a short excerpt of that conversation so Elizabeth can get back to you.
Direct contact — if you call, text, or email us, we keep what you send in order to respond and provide services.
Client photos — with your explicit consent, we may photograph or video your results for our gallery, website, or social media. We do not publish identifiable client photos without permission, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

How We Use Your Information

To schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage your appointment
To send you booking confirmations, appointment details, and policy reminders by email
To assess suitability and safety for the service you have booked
To answer questions you send through the chat assistant or directly
To keep the records a business is expected to keep (appointments, consent, payments received)
To showcase real client results — only with your consent

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site and booking system. Each is governed by its own privacy policy:

Vercel — hosts the website
Supabase — hosts the database where booking and client information is stored
Resend — sends our booking and appointment emails
Anthropic (Claude) — powers the website chat assistant; the messages you send are processed to generate a response

We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your booking and client records — including intake and consent forms — for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward, so we have your history and consent on file for future visits and for liability and recordkeeping purposes. You can ask us to delete your information (see below), and we will do so except where we are required to retain it.

Your Choices

You can ask us to:

Tell you what information we have about you
Correct information that is wrong or out of date
Delete information we hold about you, except where we are required to retain it (for example for financial or consent recordkeeping)
Remove your photo from our gallery or social media at any time

A note on scope: Georgia does not currently have a comprehensive state consumer privacy law, and Brow Goddess Atl does not meet the size or revenue thresholds that trigger other states' privacy laws (like California's CCPA). We provide this policy as a transparency practice, not because a specific law mandates it for a business our size.

Cookies

The public pages of this site do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our staff-only admin area uses a sign-in cookie that is necessary for it to work; it is not used for tracking and is not set for regular visitors.

Data Security

Booking and client information is stored in a database protected by access controls, and our providers use encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see your information to Elizabeth and the studio.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at anyone under 18. Under Georgia law (O.C.G.A. §16-5-71), we cannot legally provide PMU/tattoo services to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
